Believing The Bird

Toward the end of 2020 I found these two crows playing around a sign at the Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuge. I chose this photo as my website logo for several reasons: (1) Joe and I spend a lot of time at the Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuge just six miles south of Monte Vista, and (2) crows are one of my most favorite bird types. I admire their intelligence, confidence, and playfulness.

...is the keeper of sacred law. Crow admonishes us "to be mindful of your opinions and actions."
