Jeanne Horvath photographs and writes about her walks and hikes in and around the San Luis Valley of South Central Colorado. A Pennsylvania native, she has lived in Montana, Utah, and Colorado most of her adult life.

She has worked as a teacher, counselor, and administrative assistant in Pennsylvania, Utah, Montana, and Colorado.
Now retired, she focuses on energy medicine for family and friends, photography, astrology, numerology, watercolor, acrylic, multi-media, and oil painting, and enjoying nature. “Believing the Bird” originates from a deeply-held connection to the spirit of the earth fostered by her late father, Walter C.
